This kit will provide as close to a factory ride as you can get while providing off road articulation. Includes four powder coated, E-coated 5160H hot rolled bar, 5/8inch coil springs set to original factory rates. By using 5160H hot rolled bar, ORV springs keep their memory eliminating any possibility of future sag. ORV uses tough, over built extended control arms for added strength and higher performance. Each arm has a beefy 3/16 inch wall thickness and each end is tapered before welding: this extra heavy-duty design ensures a long life, both on and off road. In most cases control arms are longer than factory to adjust for caster. This is not always true for other brand lifts. Each arm bushing can be easily greased without removing the arm from the vehicle. Each 2inch Coil Spring Lift Kit includes 1inch transfer case lowering brackets. These are not spacers but full-length brackets that actually solidly secure your transfer case. ORV uses these brackets rather than spacers, as spacers can create flex and put undue stress on the drive line. Each 4 inch Coil Spring Lift Kit includes 1.5 inch transfer case lowering brackets. These are full length brackets that actually “trueinch your transfer case. ORV uses these brackets rather than spacers, as spacers can create flex therefore putting undue stress on the drive line. Kit includes two sway bar disconnects for more off road articulation. Due to the changed pinion angle, we highly recommend a new drive shaft and a slip yoke eliminator kit be installed when using any 4inch or greater lift kit on a 1997-2006 Wrangler/Unlimited. All 4inch Kits will require the purchase of a drop pitman arm to ensure proper steering geometry (sold separately). ReadyLift 2.5 inch Front and 1.5 inch Rear SST Hybrid Lift Kit is designed for use on 2WD coil spring suspension vehicles only providing a mild lift stance while retaining a slight rake in the rear for hauling or towing. The kit includes a pair of lower strut extensions that bolt together in order to attach to the lower control arm and a lower strut mount to generate the 2.5 inch of front lift. It has new rear leaf spring shackles which when installed will raise the rear of the vehicle 1.5 inch. The rear system also includes steel rear upper shock mount extensions to keep the rear shock in the stock position and length which results in a factory ride. In addition to the strut extensions, this kit also contains 0.5 inch plate steel upper ball joint spacers that install between the upper ball joint and the inside of the control arm to eliminate the upper arm to coil spring contact during suspension cycling. All these are of steel construction protected with a tough powder-coated finish. Each kit comes complete with 10.9 class zinc-plated hardware and intuitive instructions detailing the steps required for installation. The lift kit allows for installation up to 30 inch tall tires.
